This integrating board game is meant to break down the prejudice existing between the sight-impaired and sighted persons and to overcome their mutual stereotypes. To achieve this goal, the author of the project designed a legible and visually attractive game, which is also pleasant to the touch. During a game, the players who are able to see cover their eyes, so that everyone involved has equal chances. The project is comprised of the game mechanics design, a prototype with pawns and boards, and a manual. What is more, Invisible Island contains tactile graphic elements and Braille inscriptions. While working on her project, the designer consulted all her ideas both with game designers and designers specialising in projects for vision-impaired users.
